Micky co-founded and fronted Sydney's Space Juniors in 1986, known for their energetic don't bore us, get to the chorus style. They played iconic venues, such as the Hopetoun, Landsdowne, Trade Union Club, and the Enmore Theatre, and supported bands like The Scientists and the Celibate Rifles. There 1989 single, Chewin', debuted at #1 on the indie charts of Sydney and Melbourne.
In 1999, Space Juniors played a re-union at the Iron Duke Hotel in Sydney with D. on bass, Bill Gibson on guitar and Nik Reith on drums
In 2024, Space Juniors played two shows in Australia. Link and Pin and the Moshpit. Micky was the only original member.
